Procter & Gamble's most recent trend suggests a bearish bias. One trading opportunity on Procter & Gamble is a Bear Call Spread using a strike $85.00 short call and a strike $90.00 long call offers a potential 5.04% return on risk over the next 32 calendar days. Maximum profit would be generated if the Bear Call Spread were to expire worthless, which would occur if the stock were below $85.00 by expiration. The full premium credit of $0.24 would be kept by the premium seller. The risk of $4.76 would be incurred if the stock rose above the $90.00 long call strike price.

U.S. FDA demands proof antibacterial soaps safe, work
Mon, 16 Dec 2013 21:23:14 GMT
Reuters – Makers of antibacterial hand soaps and body washes would have to demonstrate that their products are safe and more effective than soap and water in preventing infection and the spread of bacteria, under a rule proposed by U.S. regulators on Monday. The FDA said research has suggested long-term exposure to antibacterial chemicals, such as triclosan in liquid soaps and triclocarban in bar soaps, could have hormonal affects and allow bacteria to mutate into harder-to-control strains. “Due to consumers' extensive exposure to the ingredients in antibacterial soaps, we believe there should be a clearly demonstrated benefit … to balance any potential risk,” said Janet Woodcock, director of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). The FDA said the action is part of a larger ongoing review by the agency to ensure that antibacterial ingredients are safe and effective.
