Air Products's most recent trend suggests a bearish bias. One trading opportunity on Air Products is a Bear Call Spread using a strike $135.00 short call and a strike $145.00 long call offers a potential 13.64% return on risk over the next 26 calendar days. Maximum profit would be generated if the Bear Call Spread were to expire worthless, which would occur if the stock were below $135.00 by expiration. The full premium credit of $1.20 would be kept by the premium seller. The risk of $8.80 would be incurred if the stock rose above the $145.00 long call strike price.
The 5-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the short-term momentum for Air Products is bearish and the probability of a decline in share price is higher if the stock starts trending.
The 20-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the medium-term momentum for Air Products is bearish.
The RSI indicator is at 55.11 level which suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold at this time.

Air Products' High Efficiency Supply System Reduces Oxygen Loss At Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Treatment Center
Mon, 27 Oct 2014 18:30:00 GMT
PR Newswire – LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Air Products (NYSE:APD) has developed a new patent-pending technology that reduces the loss of normally vented oxygen by as much as 30 percent from a compact, multi-cryogenic tank system that supplies hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment centers. The new technology is part of a system that has been installed at the Saint Peter's University Hospital's Wound Care Center® and Hyperbaric Services unit in Monroe Township, N.J. Based on a comparison with other systems, the healthcare center has used 30 percent less oxygen in one year. Unlike conventional medical oxygen supply systems, Air Products' high efficiency supply system first pulls oxygen in the form of a gas, rather than a liquid, to eliminate a rise in the tank's pressure, thereby reducing the product loss by venting that would otherwise result. Air Products' new supply system was designed to meet these challenges to minimize any gaseous oxygen losses.

PR Newswire – LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Air Products (NYSE: APD), the global leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology and equipment, today announced it has signed an agreement to supply its proprietary liquefied natural gas (LNG) process technology and equipment to Technip for a mid-scale LNG project in Fengzhen City, Inner Mongolia Province, China. Air Products' technology at that location will be key to a liquefaction train producing approximately 300,000 tons per year of LNG for Fengzhen Wanjie Gas Co. Ltd. The LNG facility is targeting onstream production for the second half of 2016. “With this project, we continue to strengthen our position in the competitive mid-scale LNG market. Having won several projects of this size, and as a key technology supplier to Technip, we are happy to be providing our state of the art technology and liquefaction expertise for this location. We expect additional projects of this kind as the demand to make available the natural gas from more mid-size undeveloped gas reserves continues to increase,” said Warren Miller, business manager – LNG at Air Products. Miller added that as Air Products continues to demonstrate its ability to serve all sizes and spectrums of the LNG market, this project in Inner Mongolia will benefit significantly from the company's proven LNG project experience around the globe.
