Another Refreshing Dip Into POOL

My original posting on 1/19/2016 (Time to Jump Into POOL?) covered the strong seasonal pattern in POOL Corp (POOL). As you might guess, Pool Corporation (POOL) is a wholesale distributor of pool products to builders, retailers, and commercial customers.

Over the 15 weeks starting in the middle of January POOL stock had a 100% track record of gains – 20 out of 20 years. Many of the gains were nice double-digit moves:

5.13.16.1blogOn March 4th, I updated the progress of this stock for this year (Did You Jump Into POOL?). The stock was up 8% and on track to produce a 21 out of 21 track record.

The 15-week period ended this year on April 29th. Did POOL keep its perfect track record?

It sure did. POOL ended up with a 16% gain. When the middle of January comes next year, the 15-week seasonal pattern for POOL will look like:
