Apple's most recent trend suggests a bullish bias. One trading opportunity on Apple is a Bull Put Spread using a strike $92.14 short put and a strike $87.14 long put offers a potential 16.55% return on risk over the next 17 calendar days. Maximum profit would be generated if the Bull Put Spread were to expire worthless, which would occur if the stock were above $92.14 by expiration. The full premium credit of $0.71 would be kept by the premium seller. The risk of $4.29 would be incurred if the stock dropped below the $87.14 long put strike price.
The 5-day moving average is moving up which suggests that the short-term momentum for Apple is bullish and the probability of a rise in share price is higher if the stock starts trending.
The 20-day moving average is moving up which suggests that the medium-term momentum for Apple is bullish.
The RSI indicator is at 58.12 level which suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold at this time.

HTC's profit surge slightly beats forecasts
Thu, 03 Jul 2014 13:42:21 GMT
Reuters – Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp on Thursday reported an 80 percent rise in second-quarter net profit from a year ago, slightly beating analyst expectations, as a turnaround strategy started to stem a decline in sales. HTC has struggled to retain its market share against competition from the likes of Apple Inc and Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, as growth in high-end smartphones slows worldwide. To return its global share to 10 percent from the current 2 percent, HTC has released flagship model One M8, extended its range of mid-tier handsets and increased its marketing budget. Shares of HTC ended up 0.4 percent ahead of the earnings release, in line with a rise in the benchmark index.
