FedEx's most recent trend suggests a bearish bias. One trading opportunity on FedEx is a Bear Call Spread using a strike $160.00 short call and a strike $170.00 long call offers a potential 21.07% return on risk over the next 39 calendar days. Maximum profit would be generated if the Bear Call Spread were to expire worthless, which would occur if the stock were below $160.00 by expiration. The full premium credit of $1.74 would be kept by the premium seller. The risk of $8.26 would be incurred if the stock rose above the $170.00 long call strike price.
The 5-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the short-term momentum for FedEx is bearish and the probability of a decline in share price is higher if the stock starts trending.
The 20-day moving average is moving down which suggests that the medium-term momentum for FedEx is bearish.
The RSI indicator is at 42.67 level which suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold at this time.

FedEx workers at New Jersey facility reject union representation
Sat, 11 Oct 2014 01:58:14 GMT
Reuters – Workers at a New Jersey facility of package delivery company FedEx Corp unit FedEx Freight voted against union membership on Friday, the latest in a series of setbacks for the Teamsters union's efforts to unionize the company's workforce. In a statement, FedEx Freight welcomed the result of the vote by drivers at the Cinnaminson facility in New Jersey not to seek union representation. “FedEx Freight respects each employee's right to make his or her own decision, but we prefer to work directly with employees without involving a union,” the company said. The Teamster have been trying unsuccessfully to unionize FedEx workers, claiming company intimidation ahead of votes.
