This is getting ugly.

If Americans are eating less Mexican food, then the US economy is in real trouble.

The consumer has stopped consuming.  And that makes it incredibly difficult for businesses to grow.  Maybe we’re just tired of tacos and have moved on to buffalo wings.  Nope.

Or maybe we’re home watching movies from a terrible selection on NFLX?  Nope.

Or we’re playing with our new iPhones, iPads, iEverythings?  Nope.

So if the American consumer isn’t spending, then who is?  The Government.  And we’ve seen how well that’s been working out.  We’re inching closer to “duck and cover” time.
