Jan 30 2018 - Polaris, Scotts, Harley-Davidson get hit hard

SPY, DIA & QQQ all finished in the red today and never recovered from their early morning gaps lower. Despite today's selling, there is still no major technical damage done to the big three.

Polaris (PII), Scotts Miracle-Gro (SMG) and Harley-Davidson (HOG) all were beat up today due to their earnings reports, which highlights the value of protective puts in front of fixed news events like earnings.
