Feb 18 2018 - Bulls start the week with an edge

The SPY, DIA and QQQ's daily and weekly charts are technically bullish to start the week when trading resumes on Tuesday. The $VIX is trending lower, which is bullish for equities as well.

While the bulls won the pre-holiday week again, stocks like AMZN, NFLX, NVDA and BA did not break out to new all-time highs. They were stopped cold at their previous highs, which now creates a potential ' double-top' formation. A close to new highs would quickly solve this 'concern'.
