May 24 2018 - Watching LB & BBY Takes A Hit

The major indexes dipped intraday but finished essentially unchanged. The bulls retain the edge heading into the three-day holiday weekend.

LB (L Brands), which owns brands like Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, PINK, Bigelow and others, popped 3.44% on earnings today. The stock has had a really tough year, losing nearly 50% of its value since January. Keep an eye on the 50-day SMA, as a close above it would constitute a technical breakout.
